1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the i20 Travels website (i20travels.com) and booking flight services through us, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

These Terms & Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and i20 Travels regarding your flight bookings and services.

2. Our Role as Independent Travel Agency

i20 Travels is an independent travel agency, not the airline. We act as your agent to facilitate flight bookings with airlines of your choice.

The airline selected for your booking is the actual carrier and has the right to modify schedules, prices, and policies. Contractual rights and obligations regarding air transportation are between you and the airline, not i20 Travels.

3. Booking Services

3.1 Flight Bookings

When you book a flight through i20 Travels, you are purchasing a seat on the airline's flight. A booking confirmation will be sent to your email within 24 hours. Your booking is tentative until payment is received in full.

You acknowledge that:

  • Prices quoted are subject to availability and may change until payment is confirmed
  • Availability is not guaranteed until payment is processed
  • Seat assignments may be made by the airline and are subject to change
  • Booking rules and policies vary by airline and ticket type

3.2 Ticket Issuance

Electronic tickets (e-tickets) are issued within 24 hours of confirmed payment. You may receive your tickets before or after payment is processed, depending on the airline. Tickets are non-transferable and must be used by the passenger named on the booking.

You are responsible for:

  • Printing and presenting your tickets at check-in
  • Downloading tickets from the airline's website if needed
  • Ensuring all passenger information is correct
  • Arriving at the airport 3 hours before international flights, 2 hours before domestic flights

3.3 Name Accuracy

Name accuracy is critical. Your name on the ticket must exactly match your passport or government-issued ID. Corrections after issuance may be impossible or incur substantial penalties.

You are responsible for providing the exact legal name (first name, middle name if applicable, and last name) as it appears on your travel documents. We recommend verifying your booking confirmation immediately upon receipt.

3.4 Passport & Visa Requirements

You are solely responsible for:

  • Ensuring your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date
  • Obtaining necessary visas for your destination countries
  • Meeting all entry and exit requirements of countries on your itinerary
  • Having proper travel documents (green card, work permit, etc., if applicable)
  • Complying with all government regulations and travel advisories

i20 Travels is not responsible if you are denied boarding due to passport or visa issues. Airlines may deny boarding to passengers with insufficient documentation, and no refund will be provided.

4. Pricing & Payment

4.1 Fare Prices

Flight prices displayed on our website are per person in the selected currency and are subject to the following conditions:

  • Prices are quoted for the specific route, date, and time selected
  • Prices are subject to availability and may change without notice
  • Prices are only guaranteed after full payment is processed
  • Displayed prices may not include all applicable taxes and fees (see Section 4.4)
  • Prices for different passengers (adult, child, infant) vary based on airline rules

4.2 Service Fees

i20 Travels charges a service fee for booking and customer support services. This fee is clearly displayed before checkout and is:

  • Non-refundable (unless a flight is not issued)
  • Separate from the airline fare, taxes, and other charges
  • Subject to change without notice

4.3 Payment Authorization

By submitting payment, you authorize i20 Travels and our payment processors to charge your payment method. You represent and warrant that:

  • You are authorized to use the payment method provided
  • You have sufficient funds or available credit
  • You will pay all charges incurred under your booking
  • Payment information provided is accurate and true

Payment must be received in full before tickets are issued. We reserve the right to hold bookings for up to 24 hours before cancelling due to non-payment.

4.4 Taxes & Surcharges

Flight prices include applicable air transportation taxes and fuel surcharges. Additional charges may apply for:

  • Government taxes and departure fees
  • Security surcharges and facility charges
  • Airline-specific surcharges (fuel, baggage, seat selection)
  • Optional services (seat upgrades, baggage, insurance)

All applicable taxes and surcharges are displayed in the price breakdown during checkout.

5. Changes & Modifications

You may request changes to your booking subject to airline policies and availability. Changes may include:

  • Passenger name corrections (limited circumstances)
  • Date and time changes (subject to availability and change fees)
  • Route modifications (may affect pricing)

  • Changes cannot be made within 24 hours of departure
  • Airline change fees apply (typically $100-$300+)
  • Price differences may apply if fare changes
  • Some tickets cannot be changed at all (non-changeable fares)
  • i20 Travels is not responsible for failed change requests due to airline policies

6. Cancellations & Refunds

Key points:

  • You have 24 hours from booking to cancel without penalty under the DOT 24-Hour Rule
  • Refundability depends on ticket type (refundable vs. non-refundable fares)
  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method
  • i20 Travels service fees are non-refundable unless the flight was not issued
  • Refund timelines vary by airline (typically 7-30 days)

7. DOT 24-Hour Rule

Under U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, i20 Travels must allow you to cancel your reservation at no penalty within 24 hours of booking if you booked at least 7 days before departure.

To cancel within 24 hours with no penalty:

  • Contact us within 24 hours of the confirmation email
  • Cancellation must be made by phone (844) 205-4177 or email (contact@i20travels.com)
  • You will receive a full refund to your original payment method
  • The i20 Travels service fee is non-refundable

This 24-hour cancellation right does not apply if the booking was made less than 7 days before departure.

8. Seat Upgrades

Seat upgrades (economy to premium economy, business class, etc.) are available for a fee and subject to airline policies and availability.

  • Upgrade requests must be submitted before ticket issuance
  • Upgrades are not guaranteed and depend on seat availability
  • Upgrade fees are non-refundable once applied
  • If an upgrade is not available, you will be offered a full refund of the upgrade fee
  • Some airlines permit upgrades at check-in or in the airport; others do not

9. Airline Schedule Changes

Airlines may change flight schedules for operational, safety, or other reasons. If your flight schedule is changed materially (typically 2+ hours), you have the right to:

  • Accept the new schedule at no additional charge
  • Request a flight on a different date with no change fee
  • Request a full refund if no alternative flight is acceptable

i20 Travels will notify you promptly of airline-initiated schedule changes. However, you are also responsible for monitoring your email and booking confirmation for schedule change notifications from the airline.

Minor schedule changes (less than 1 hour) are not considered material changes and do not entitle you to refunds or rebooking.

10. Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is available as an optional add-on during the booking process. Travel insurance typically covers:

  • Trip cancellations due to illness or emergency
  • Flight delays and missed connections
  • Lost or delayed baggage
  • Medical emergencies while traveling
  • Emergency evacuation

Travel insurance is provided by third-party insurers and subject to their terms and conditions. i20 Travels is not responsible for insurance claims. For claims, contact the insurance provider directly using the policy details provided at booking.

We recommend purchasing travel insurance, especially for non-refundable tickets or complex itineraries.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, i20 Travels shall not be liable for:

  • Flight delays, cancellations, or changes by airlines
  • Denial of boarding for any reason
  • Loss, damage, or delay of baggage
  • Missed connections or missed flights
  • Airline service quality or passenger treatment
  • Injury or illness during travel
  • Changes in passport/visa requirements or travel regulations
  • Denial of entry to any country
  • Any indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages
  • Lost profits, lost revenues, or loss of business opportunities
  • Errors or omissions in website content or booking systems

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your booking is limited to the total amount you paid for your flight ticket (excluding non-refundable service fees).

i20 Travels is a booking intermediary. The airline is responsible for all air transportation services and is the entity liable for flight-related incidents under applicable aviation law.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on the i20 Travels website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of i20 Travels or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws.

You may view and print pages for personal use only. You may not:

  • Reproduce, modify, or distribute any content without permission
  • Remove copyright notices or proprietary marks
  • Use content for commercial purposes
  • Scrape or systematically download content
  • Reverse engineer or decompile software
  • Create derivative works based on our content

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

13.1 Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13.2 Jurisdiction & Venue

You agree that any legal action or proceeding relating to your use of i20 Travels services shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in New Jersey, and you hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

13.3 Arbitration

For disputes not resolved through negotiation, either party may elect to resolve the dispute through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in New Jersey unless both parties agree otherwise.

13.4 Class Action Waiver

You agree that disputes shall be resolved on an individual basis and not as a class action, class arbitration, or representative action. You waive your right to participate in class proceedings against i20 Travels.

13.5 Dispute Resolution Process

Before initiating legal proceedings, you agree to attempt to resolve disputes through the following process:

  • Step 1: Contact us at contact@i20travels.com with a detailed description of the dispute
  • Step 2: We will respond within 30 days and attempt to resolve the matter
  • Step 3: If unresolved after 60 days, either party may pursue arbitration or court proceedings

14. Modifications to Terms

i20 Travels reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

We will provide notice of material changes by:

  • Posting the updated terms on our website with a new "Last Updated" date
  • Sending email notification to registered users
  • Requiring explicit consent for changes that significantly increase your obligations
